Malawi has recently became the first country to deploy and use the latest version of OpenLMIS – an electronic Logistics Management Information Systems (LMIS) solution that facilitates the requisition and resupply process of health commodities.
Together with VillageReach, an OpenLMIS community founding member, we worked on a complete remake of the OpenLMIS core software throughout 2016.
The client’s Intranet was outdated and not user-friendly. Articles were static, without CMS integration. Files were not managed. It was difficult to conduct a revision of a file or article.
We have been working with OpenMRS for years. Together, we were able to implement a number of important changes in developing this platform and leading to the improvement of health care in developing countries.
