QA Lead

Continuously establish and update company standards within the QA area and play the role of the owner and the expert in this field

Help QA team members to identify the required metrics and work to have them in place

Identify how QA team members align within an organizational standard and support them in achieving the set goals

Figure out what skills are required and balance the test resources accordingly with those needs based on their own interests as well

Help QA team members identify the scope of the testing required for a particular project or release based on the project requirements

Identify if there are any skill gaps and plan for training & education sessions

Identify the tools for Test Reporting, Test Management, Test Automation, etc., and educate the team on how to use those tools.

Plan and host regular knowledge transfer sessions for the QA team

Retain skilled resources by instilling leadership in them and offering guidance to the junior resources as and when required thereby enabling them to grow

Serve as a high-level QA expert and provide technical guidance for management, team leaders, and also for clients

In-depth understanding of SDLC, QA processes, and Defect Lifecycle

5+ years of experience in performing manual and automated testing

Strong expertise in all quality assurance areas from unit tests to automated UI tests, as well as integration, regression, performance, and load testing

1+ years of experience leading QA teams

Experience in the use of test management tools and defect tracking tools (e.g. JIRA)

Very good command of English (B2+)

ISTQB Advanced certification – would be a plus
