The Project

We invite you to join our team!

You’ll be involved in maintenance and development of OpenLMIS, a logistics management information system (general info: https://openlmis.org/) – including Open Source framework and multiple implementations.
You’ll work with software deployed at the national level, which runs in a real, mission critical production environment.
A Java system, Spring Boot, microservices architecture backed by PostgreSQL with complex business logic and data model. The separate React App communicates through REST providing clear distinction between Back-end and front.

Requirements

Experience 2+ years
Knowledge of Java
Spring framework, specifically Spring Boot
Docker
Hibernate (or other JPA solution)
PostgreSQL – SQL user is a must
Gradle
Jenkins CI/CD
Independence at work
English B2 at least
Computer studies graduate (nice to have)

Responsibilities

Java backend development in agile methodology, with occasional work on React Front-end (team has dedicated FE developer)
Communicate with technical stakeholders
Conduct technical reviews, showcase meetings
Work with project’s technologies
Write technical documentation and solution proposals
Communicate impediments, efficiency loss, ideas of tech and organizational improvements
